The Disaster Management Section coordinates to ease and mitigate the effects of disasters. This includes both natural and unnatural disasters. It also reduces the potential losses from hazards, assure prompt and appropriate assistance to victims of disasters, and achieve rapid and effective recovery.
The Fire Section primary role is to ensure an effective fire, rescue and emergency services. To plan and co-ordinate appropriate risk reduction projects accordantly to the disaster risk profile of the municipality. Issue early to communities at risk.
Protect and escort Office Bearers. Securing the public location before the Office Beare attends a public event and identifying suspicious behaviour.
