Ulundi Municipality has a definite financial strategy/plan that addresses the issue of having to deal with huge unemployment and poverty. With this scenario it becomes critical for council to realize what the affordability levels for payment of services are and then to appropriate suitable strategies. This strategy is developed along interwoven phases that are aimed at improving financial management, enhancing revenue and financial viability.

DEPARTMENTAL STRUCTURE
The Department Financial Services consists of six divisions namely, 
  • Budget and Compliance,
  • Expenditure,
  • Income,
  • Supply Chain Management,
  • Information Technology and
  • Asset Management

    which are further divided into various sub-divisions and sections to cover the spectrum of related functions and actions being delivered to the community.

  • FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
  • STATUTORY REPORTING.
  • FINANCIAL POLICIES AND BY-LAWS.
